An adult woman driver and two juveniles who were passengers were taken to the hospital after their car overturned Saturday at about 5:45 p.m. on Falcon Road, just east of Opie Road.
Police said the car, driven by Michelle Anthenelli, 46, of Green Brook, was traveling east on Falcon Road when the car left the road and hit a mailbox and a drainage culvert. The impact caused the car to turn over and come to rest in an upright position, police said.
All three in the car were hurt, with the driver suffering serious injury, police said. All three were taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick by the Hillsborough Rescue Squad.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
