A 24-year-old woman was shot and killed around 7 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of a company located on Docks Corner Road, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and South Brunswick Chief of Police Raymond Hayducka.
The woman, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was approached by a suspect who fled after apparently shooting the woman, police said.
The results of an autopsy being performed by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office were not immediately available.
No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
