The summer sessions of “Dancing by the Peddie Lake with Candace-Woodward- Clough” will begin on July 9 for the Thursday class and July 17 for the Friday class at 112 Etra Road, Hightstown. The Monmouth County Audubon Society will host a bird walk to look for nesters and shorebirds on Sandy Hook at 6 p.m. July 16. Participants will meet in the parking lot of the old Sandy Hook Visitor’s Center. This free event will be led by members of the Monmouth County Audubon Society who are familiar with Sandy Hook and its birds. Society nembers and nonmembers are welcome to attend. Participants should bring binoculars and field guides, and should dress appropriately for the weather, including clothing suitable for rain if the forecast is questionable.
