The Flyers 5K Run benefiting Flyers Charities is a fun-filled activity for competitive and amateur runners alike. Participants are encouraged to wear their Flyers gear while enjoying the company of their friends, family and neighbors from the community. The event will take place Oct. 17 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Approximately 80 sought-after positions as ballpersons for the 2015 US Open are up for grabs with approximately 350 people competing for spots. Prospective ballpersons will be evaluated by US Open officials on their running, throwing and catching skills.
