The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison, will present Comedians of the 20th Century, Behind the Artists and their Humor at 1:30 p.m. Part 2 will be held July 7; Part 3 will be held July 14.
Larry Wolfert, an instructor at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University, presents the series. Learn about people who made America laugh in the twentieth century, ranging from Charlie Chaplin to Sid Caesar to Carol Burnett to Jerry Seinfeld, including Joan Rivers, Woody Allen and dozens in between. Audience participation is encouraged, including sharing most enjoyed moments from each presented artist.
The fee is $16 for Community Campus members or $22 for nonmembers.
