Hillsborough Democrats will hold a campaign kickoff picnic on Sunday, July 19, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Ann Van Middlesworth Park, 17 Pleasant View Road.
The picnic is sponsored by the Hillsborough Democratic organization in support of Laurie Poppe and Ann Harris, the Democratic candidates for Township Committee. Other county and state Democratic candidates are expected to be on hand.
There will be burgers and hot dogs, side dishes, salads, dessert, and drinks. There also will be sports, music, games and contests for the kids (or kids at heart).
Tickets are $20 per person or $50 for a family. Checks may be made payable to the “Campaign to Elect Harris and Poppe” and mailed to John Beggiato, 62 Peterson Road, Hillsborough, 08844, by July 15. At the door (unreserved) tickets are $30 per person, $70 for a family.
