Forum on aid-in-dying laws set for July 12

The Red Bank Humanists will host the forum, “The Status of Aid in Dying as a Humanist Issue,” from 10:30 a.m.-noon on Sunday, July 12, at the Red Bank Charter School, 58 Oakland St., Red Bank. The event is free and open to the public.

The forum will feature Ethan Andersen, who is a field organizer for Compassion and Choices. His talk will include the content of the Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act, the success of similar aid-in-dying laws in other states, the objections by the opposition and the relationship between humanism and death with dignity.
