The Jamesburg Elks Lodge No. 2180 Motorcycle Club will hold two raffles — its Hockey Raffle and a Super 50/50 — in conjunction with its Miles for Mikey Road to Recovery Ride set for Aug. 15.
Prize in the hockey raffle is a jersey signed by New Jersey Devils player Scott Stevens; a hockey puck is included in the package. All raffle tickets cost $5 each.
Proceeds from the ride and the raffles will support the recovery of Mikey Nichols, a former Monroe Township High School hockey player who sustained a spinal cord injury during a game.
The day will begin with registration 9:30-11 a.m. at the Elks lodge, 74 W. Railroad Ave. Kickstands-up is set for 11:30 a.m. Riders are welcome. A party is planned for 1-6 p.m. at the lodge; cost is $20 for food and beverages. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn at 5 p.m.
A street fair gala will coincide with the day’s events. Vendors are sought.
