In coaching and extracurricular moves, the Hillsborough Board of Education accepted the resignations Monday night of:
– Christopher Giordano, assistant coach boys’ soccer at the high school;
– Brandon Shamy, assistant boys’ basketball coach at the high school for three years, and
– Mark Ziminski, two-year assistant varsity boys’ lacrosse coach at the high school.
Mr. Giordano was replaced by Mr. Ziminski as first assistant soccer coach.
Nicholas Colacicco was named assistant boys’ soccer coach at the middle school, replacing Joseph Pidany.
Kimberly Shelus was hired to replace Kim O’Rear as assistant girls’ volleyball coach at the high school.
David Metzger was hired to instruct the high school band color guard in the fall and winter, replacing Darnell Deans (resigned).
