PRINCETON: Faculty Road to close for repairs Aug. 3 to Aug. 22

Beginning on Monday, Aug. 3, sections of Faculty Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday for roadway, curb and crosswalk improvements, Princeton police said in an announcement this week.
The closures will be as follows:
• Aug. 3 to Aug. 8, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Faculty Road will be closed between Broadmead Street and Harrison Street.
• Aug. 10 to Aug. 15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Faculty Road will be closed between Fitzrandolph Road and Broadmead Street.
• Aug. 17 to Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Faculty Road will be closed between Fitzrandolph Road and Broadmead Street.
There will be no vehicular, bicycle or pedestrian access through the section under construction for the duration of the closure, police said. However, all sidewalks along Faculty Road will remain open during the construction.
During the closure from Aug. 3 to Aug. 8, residents on Faculty Road between Broadmead and Harrison streets will be able to access their homes via Harrison Street or Broadmead Street. Residents of Lake Lane and the Dean Mathey Apartments will continue to have access to their residences throughout the duration of the project.
Detour signage will be posted for walking, cycling and/or driving through the area.
