Charles S. Molnar Sr.

Mr. Molnar, 94, of Colts Neck, died Sept. 24, 2012. Mr. Molnar was born in Garfield and attended Hemphill Diesel Engine School. He became a tool and die machinist at Presto Lock and eventually started his own tool and die business, Molnar Tools Inc., in 1948. He was predeceased by a daughter, Dr. Kathleen Brown; and a grandson, Craig Molnar. Surviving are his wife, Sophie; two sons, Dr. Michael Molnar and his wife, Shelley, of Warren, and Charles Molnar Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Farmingdale; two daughters, Claire Molnar of East Windsor, and Audrey Mostrowski and her husband, Victor, of Mercerville; a son-in-law, William Brown, of Ashburn, Va.; and six grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck, followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.
