Sky Blue FC has confirmed its 2015 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) home finale for Sept. 2. Kickoff for the match against FC Kansas City will occur at 7 p.m. at Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway.
Tickets for the home finale of Sky Blue FC’s sixth professional season are on sale now, and fans can purchase them online or by calling 888-SBFC-TIX (888-723-2849). Both group and individual tickets are available.
Prior to the regular-season finale, Sky Blue FC will return home to Yurcak Field Aug. 22, hosting Portland Thorns FC at 7 p.m. Individual and group tickets for that match are on sale now and can be purchased online at tickets.skybluefc.com or by calling 888-SBFC-TIX (888-723-2849).
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties (BBBSMMC) will hold its Ninth Annual Volleyball Tournament Sept. 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Main Street beach in Manasquan.
Teams of six to eight players will compete and each member of a team is asked to raise $75 ($50 for students) in pledges to participate.
Proceeds will benefit the quality programs offered by BBBSMMC to fulfill the agency’s mission to provide children with strong and enduring, professionally supportive 1:1 relationships that change their lives for the better.
