HOPEWELL: Barracudas win two golds, seven medals in PASDA championships

The Hopewell Valley Tennis and Swim Center (HVTSC) Barracudas captured medals in several events in Division 2 at the 2015 Jeffrey S. Mace Memorial Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association (PASDA) Swimming Championships in late July at West Windsor Waterworks.
Winning gold with a time of 1:49.74, the girls 8-and-under 100 SC Meter Medley relay team included Caitlin Lynch, 8, Amelie Bass, 8, Riley Kerr, 8, and Kayla Warren, 8.
The 14-and-under SC 100 Freestyle Relay team won gold in 2:19.45 behind Eva Ondreyka, 13, Cerise Stanley, 13, Grace Hayden, 14 and Kate DeHaven, 13.
Taking third in the Girls 18-and-under 200 Freestyle Relay:with a time of 2.18.20 were Grace Sawicki, Kate Genovesi, Annalyse Newton and Alexandra Raskin. Grace, Kate, Alex and Kate DeHaven took third in the Girls 18-and-under 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:38.97.
The Girls 12-and-under 200 Medley Relay team of Izzy Cortina, Priscilla Lehman-Borer, Emilie Sawicki and Daphine Newton took third place with a time of 3:15.27.
Winning silver with a time of 1:51.85 in the Boys 12-and-under 200 Freestyle Relay: were Christopher Sawicki, Joseph Genovese, Mark Sarachman and Andrew Kite. The boys also won silver in the 12-and-under 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:54.60.
