The society believes that by educating our people about our rich history, we create a stronger sense of community. As advocates for preservation of sites and settings, the society also helps the town make better decisions regarding development.
The society maintains the Dirck Gulick House at Dutchtown-Zion Road, built circa 1752, the Bedensville Schoolhouse on the property of Orchard Hill Elementary School, and the Society’s Farm Museum, currently located on Montgomery Road behind the 1860s House. These are all open to the public at specific times.
