The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Rd., Edison, announces Michael Colby will present ‘The Algonquin Kid’ at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 8.
An author, performer and librettist/lyricist, he will talk about the illustrious history of New York’s Algonquin Hotel. His presentation will share excerpts from his new book, which describes his adventures at the hotel, perform songs written at the hotel and answer questions. The book will be available for purchase and signing.
The presentation is free and open to the Community as space allows. Pre-registration is strongly requested.
