HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP: Remember those who died on Sept. 11, 2001

To the editor:
It is hard to believe that 14 years have passed since our nation was attacked on that crystal clear September day, Sept. 11, 2001.
I think that it is important that we stop and remember the nearly 3,000 who were lost. Each year the Hopewell Valley September 11th and Emergency Services Memorial Committee hosts a remembrance ceremony.
This year the Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the beautiful Hopewell Valley September 11th and Emergency Services Memorial. The Memorial ’s centerpiece is a 10-ton steel artifact that was recovered from the World Trade Center following the 2001 attacks. The memorial is located in Hopewell Township’s Alliger Park which is located next to the Hopewell Township Municipal Complex on county Route 546. Please bring a lawn char. Lunch will be provided. The Ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
Please, on Sept. 11 take a moment to stop and remember. I know we will.
