Alejandra Espinoza, 19, of Lodi, was issued a summons for careless driving after the car she was driving struck the rear of a car driven by Barbara Ware, 56, of Bedminster on Route 206 south near Cherry Valley Road at 7:58 a.m. Sept. 8. A passenger in Ms. Ware’s car, 61-year-old Ira Benson of Bedminster, complained of neck pain and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset for treatment.
James Wyckoff, 21, of Belle Mead, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath tests, careless driving, failure to report an accident, failure to exhibit documents and having no insurance after he was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Meadow Run Drive at 6:39 a.m. Sept. 6. Police responded to a report of a motorcyclist down and upon arrival, found pieces of a motorcycle and evidence of a motorcycle crash on Meadow Run Drive. Mr. Wyckoff was evaluated at the scene by Montgomery EMS, and refused treatment for a minor injury to his leg.
