HOPEWELL POLICE BLOTTER: Sept. 24, 2015

Lt. Christopher Kascik of the Hopewell Township Police Department reported:
Sept. 11 at 7:05 a.m., Officer Nicholas Sparaco went to an address on Cherokee Drive on a report of a male damaging a motor vehicle that did not belong to him.
The victim said a male he did not know was in his driveway and had kicked his vehicle numerous times, causing damage, police said. The male was intoxicated and was identified as Anthony J. DeClerico, 21, of Dublin Road, Pennington, police said. He offered no explanation as to why he was in the driveway, damaging the car, and said he did not know the owner.
He said he believed he had been dropped off at a nearby residence after a night out.
He was released after being charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespass. His case was forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutors Office. 

Sept. 14 at 6:45 p.m., Officer Kevin Koveloski went to Mercer Street on a report of an assault.
The victim was punched several times in the face by a female, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries to her face.
A 15-year-old female was charged with assault, and her case was referred to family court. 

Sept. 1 at 11:41 a.m., Officer Alexis Mirra stopped a 2002 Dodge on Route 31 for a motor vehicle violation (unregistered vehicle).
While speaking with the driver, Truenkle T. Brunson, 45, of Locust Street, Trenton, warrants for her arrest were located. She posted bail and was released. 

Sept. 20 at 9 a.m., a 17-year-old Hopewell Township juvenile was charged with aggravated assault by Officer George Peterson after punching a Hopewell Valley emergency worker in the face and chest while she was at an ambulance call.
The EMS worker sustained minor injuries. The juvenile was released without bail. His case will be heard in family court. 

Sept. 16, Officer Mirra located a female, Tammy L. Donahue, 24, on Cook Place in Hopewell Borough who had a warrant for her arrest from Hopewell Township.
While Ms. Donahue was arrested, Officer Mirra located heroin on her, police said. She was charged with possession of heroin and taken to the Mercer County Correctional Center in default of bail. Her case was forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. 
