Basketball game to benefit veterans

Edison Job Corps and 383 Sports will present a nonprofit charity basketball game on Sept. 25 at Edison Job Corps Center, 500 Plainfield Ave., Edison. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The event will raise funds and awareness for the Wounded Warriors Project and the Veterans Adaptive Sports Program. It will feature a DJ, a professional dance team halftime show, giveaways, a 50/50 for a chance to play in the game, silent auctions, memorabilia for purchase and more.

The cost is $10 for general admission. Children under 7 years old are free.
