The Perrineville Jewish Center, Millstone Township, will host a campaign aimed at teaching North American Jews to read Hebrew. “Read Hebrew Across America and Canada” is expected to reach 12,000 affiliated and unaffiliated Jews in the United States and Canada this year. The five-week program will be led by Hana Alter. No background in Hebrew is required. The first class will meet at 3 p.m. Oct. 11.
