East Windsor Volunteer Fire Co. 2 is under new leadership.
Chief Eric Coran, who had been wearing “the white hat,“ recently moved to Hamilton and relinquished the role. A 20-year member, he’ll remain with the company.
Deputy Chief Steve Genthe, formerly a lieutenant, has been appointed acting chief and will serve in that role until a new chief is chosen early next year.
Mr. Genthe, a 26-year veteran of fire fighting, is a full-time firefighter in Monroe Township. He and his family live in Twin Rivers.
