PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: Sept. 29


Nicolas Rola, 20, of Barnegat, was arrested on two outstanding warrants from the Ocean Township Municipal Court after a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street at 2 p.m. Sept. 22. 

An Apple Macbook Air laptop computer, valued at $1,100, was reported stolen from the Holly House lobby at Princeton Community Village between 4 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Sept. 21. It had been left unattended when the theft occurred. 

An Erdman Avenue house was entered sometime between 10 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Sept. 24, but nothing was reported missing. 

A Witherspoon Street resident reported that $1,000 in cash was stolen from his apartment between Sept. 25 and Sept. 28. 

A North Harrison Street business employee was duped out of $200 after someone called her to demand the money or her brother, who was being held hostage, would be harmed. The call was deemed a hoax after the victim wired the money to a specified location in New York and afterwards confirmed with her brother that he was safe and never held hostage. The incident was reported at 10:50 a.m. Sept.29. 

Lashia Bundy, 23, of Willingboro, was arrested on outstanding warrants totaling $1,000 from Robbinsville Township Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on North Harrison Street at 7:04 a.m. Sept. 28. 

Justin Kertes, 18, of Quaker Road, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Western Way at 9:10 p.m. Sept. 28. 

Noris Rodriguez, 24, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $556 from New Hanover Township Municipal Court and for hindering apprehension by providing false information to a police officer, following a motor vehicle stop on Chambers Street at 10:37 a.m. Sept. 27. 

A Jefferson Road resident reported that between Sept. 22 and Sept. 26, someone rummaged through his truck and stole two security cameras, valued at $149, from outside of his house. The suspect was described as a tall, thin man, wearing a long-sleeved jersey with the numbers 00 on the front, and a winter-style ski cap covering his ears. 
