Residents of Millstone Township will have a full slate of candidates from which to elect three members to the Millstone Township K-8 School District Board of Education in the Nov. 3 election.
The terms of school board members Amy Jacobson, Ramon Recalde and Neil Schloss are ending in December.
Schloss is not seeking re-election to the board.
The candidates seeking the three-year terms are Jacobson, Recalde, John Sico Jr., Billy Hanson, Tabitha Zuleika Fudge and Nicole Pyhel.
Three three-year seats on the Upper Freehold Regional School District Board of Education will be up for grabs in the Nov. 3 election, but only two individuals filed to run for the board.
All three seats that will be on the ballot are for representatives from Upper Freehold Township.
Residents of Allentown will not elect a member of the school board this year.
The terms of board members Richard Smith, Howard Krieger and Peter Katz are ending in December. Katz is not seeking re-election to the board.
Smith and Krieger filed nominating petitions to run for new three-year terms.
The third representative from Upper Freehold could be decided by write-in votes on Election Day.
If no one wins as a write-in candidate, district administrators will advertise the vacancy and appoint an Upper Freehold resident to the panel.
School board members in New Jersey are not paid for their service to the community. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 3.
