How to become financially, physically and spiritually fit in all areas of life will be hosted by Kathy Lo Bue, managing director, Glen Eagle Advisors, LLC. Lo Bue is a St. Robert Bellarmine parishioner, trustee and Finance Committee co-chair. The topic will be “Medicare and You,” presented by a certified and trained State Health Insurance Assistance Program counselor. This is a community outreach service and not a sales meeting. Dave Benner, former resident botanist for Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve and professor of Ornamental Horticulture at Delaware Valley College, will be the featured speaker at the Oct. 8 meeting of the Allentown Garden Club. His topic will be how to create natural landscapes using native plants and alternatives to grass lawns.
