The shelves of the South Brunswick Food Pantry are very bare. Residents are asked to make donations of the following items, which are in extremely short supply: hearty soups, canned vegetables, canned meats, canned tomatoes, boxed potatoes, pasta, rice, cereal, oatmeal, boxed milk, juice boxes, peanut butter, boxed baked goods and coffee.
Food that is open or expired will not be accepted.
The food pantry is located downstairs in the municipal building, Route 522, Monmouth Junction. Office hours are by appointment only.
