SOUTH BRUNSWICK: Man struck and killed by truck in warehouse parking lot

SOUTH BRUNSWICK — A 55-year-old man died after he was struck by a truck as he was walking through the parking lot at the Argix Direct warehouse at 100 Middlesex Center Boulevard Sept. 30, according to the South Brunswick Township Police Department.
Linwood Moore, 55, of Monroe Township was discovered in the parking lot shortly after 6 a.m. Police and paramedics responded to a 911 call of a person struck by a truck and found Mr. Moore on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, police said.
Mr. Moore had been struck by a 1999 Freightliner, which was being driven by Danhel Moran-Perez, 40, of East Orange, police said. It was determined that Mr. Moore was walking in the parking lot toward the warehouse building when he was struck by the truck as it was driving through the lot.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey State Police are assisting in the investigation. No summonses have been issued at this time, police said.
