POLICE BLOTTER: EAST WINDSOR

A motorist reported a possible intoxicated driver operating a gray Jeep SUV in the area of Route 33. Police located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Twin Rivers Apartments. The officer observed the driver sleeping in the driver’s seat. There was vomit on the driver and the door of the vehicle. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his mouth. Cristian Ovidio Lopez, 20, of Abbington Drive, was given field sobriety tests and arrested and charged with underage drunken driving, reckless driving, careless driving and unlicensed driving. 

Police were called to a report of a shoplifting at Walmart at 7:08 p.m. on Sept. 24. Upon arrival, an individual had been located in the parking lot by a store employee. She was in possession of merchandise that she had not purchased. Eleanor Hancs, 51, of Allentown, was arrested and charged with shoplifting. 

A drug investigation revealed that an occupant of a Windsor Perrineville Road residence was growing marijuana in his backyard. Following a search of the residence and property at 8 a.m. on Sept. 25, a second occupant was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Eric Segal, 56, of East Windsor, was arrested and charged with manufacturing more than 5 pounds of marijuana and processing more than 50 grams of marijuana. Steven Segal, 21, of East Windsor, was arrested and charged with possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia. 

Between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Sept. 30, someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on Bolton Road. Nothing was taken, but the steering column and ignition were damaged. 
