The Cranbury Volunteer Fire Co. will be hosting an open house from 1-4 p.m. Saturday.
There will be activities for children, demonstrations and more. Admission is free.
“We will be giving tours of the firehouse and museum, an extrication demonstration, fire extinguisher training, fire safety information, and much more,” Chief Michael Kervan said. “Find out what it takes to become and member and fill out an application. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.”
Mayor James “Jay” Taylor said, “From a town perspective, we’re hoping to have a large turnout. I am hopeful that our residents will take the opportunity to have a day of fun and see all the equipment and trucks. It will be a good time for the kids and the kids at heart.”
The rain date for the event is Oct. 18.
