WEST WINDSOR POLICE BLOTTER: Oct. 15

Two shoplifters walked out of the Wal-Mart store at the Nassau Park Pavilion with a Samsung 60-inch LED television set and a Sony 40-inch LED television set on Sept. 25. A store employee pulled a pallet of television sets onto the display floor. The two shoplifters selected the items and put them in a shopping cart and left without paying. 

Prue M. Pavese, 47, of Yardley, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police observed the car she was driving swerving on Route 1 South at 10:02 p.m. Oct. 2. She was also driving without the headlights turned on. 

A 42-year-old township resident reported the loss of his wallet, containing his driver’s license, credit cards and about $40 in cash, at 3 p.m. Oct. 4. He had checked out of the Home Depot store at the Nassau Park Pavilion and discovered the wallet was missing when he arrived at home. 

A 54-year-old township resident reported the theft of his open landscaping-style trailer, valued at $13,000, between Oct. 3 and Oct. 5. It was reported at 2:16 p.m. Oct. 7. 

A 59-year-old Princeton resident reported the theft of her wallet from her purse while she was shopping at Trader Joe’s grocery store Oct. 7. She discovered the theft when she went to pay for her groceries. By the time she called to cancel her credit cards, the thief had already charged nearly $7,000 worth of items on her credit cards. 
