I am writing this letter in support of Julie Blake who is running for Hopewell Township Committee. I have the pleasure of knowing Julie because I work with her at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. Julie is a person of great character, someone who truly cares about what is best for people. Julie is intelligent, creative, articulate and passionate. She would listen closely to her constituents — that has been her job as a counselor.
Our township faces many challenges including high taxes, runaway spending, the PennEast pipeline, and our affordable housing responsibilities. I am confident that Julie will approach each of these challenges with openness and integrity. She will fight for maintaining the quality of life that we hold dear in Hopewell Township.
