 “Manalapan’s Got Talent” auditions will be held on Nov 7 for individuals between the ages of 13 and 21. Audition times are as follows: ages 13-15, 4-6 p.m.; ages 16-18, 5:30-7:30 p.m.; ages 19-21, 7-9 p.m. Auditions will be held at the Manalapan Community Center, 114 Route 33, Manalapan.  The Freehold Council Knights of Columbus will host an Oktoberfest dinner from 6-10 p.m. Oct. 23 at 70 E. Main St., Freehold. The menu will include salad, bread, smoked pork chops, bockwurst, bratwurst, knockwurst, spaetzle, red cabbage and dessert. Live entertainment will be provided by Smooth and Doo Wop. The cost is $18.  Pumpkin painting and Halloween crafts will take place from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Manalapan Community Center, Route 33, Manalapan. The $5 fee includes a pumpkin and painting supplies for the crafts. There will be face painting and a costume contest every hour. All ages are welcome to attend the festivities.  St. Robert Bellarmine Parish Center, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, will host a discussion series from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 11. “How to Become Financially, Physically and Spiritually Fit in All Areas of Your Life!” by Kathy Lo Bue, managing director, Glen Eagle Advisors, Freehold, and “The Many Faces of Grief: Diverse Responses” performed by Humanity Players, an interactive educational theater arts program that teaches understanding of and compassion for the challenges of grieving from a diverse perspective, will be featured.  The New Beginnings Agape Christian Center, in collaboration with the I Beseech Thee Community Development Corporation, will present the stage play “Why Black Men Hate God” at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 at the church, 133 Throckmorton St., Freehold.

 Congregation Sons of Israel, Manalapan, will join world Jewry on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. to mark the 20th yahrzeit (anniversary) of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination. The program will include a screening of the Israeli documentary “Rabin (1922-1995) — Soldier in the Army of Peace.” The program is open to the congregation and the public free of charge.
