The Metuchen Recreation Commission will sponsor a family pumpkin carving event beginning at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Metuchen Senior Center, 15 Center Street, Metuchen. Preregistration is necessary.
Carved pumpkins will be floated on Tommy’s Pond beginning at 7 p.m. Pre- School of Rock will perform at the pond during the float.
The Recreation Commission, along with the Metuchen Chamber of Commerce, will present the 5th annual Halloween Parade and Trick or Treat from 2-3:15 p.m. Oct. 25 around the Metuchen High School track, Grove Avenue. All costumed youngsters are invited.
