Woodbridge plans Halloween activities

Woodbridge has many Halloween activities planned in the coming weeks.

Free pumpkin painting will be held Oct. 21 from 4-6 p.m. at Parker Press Park. The activity is open to township residents only, while supplies last.

Stuff-A-Scarecrow will be held Oct. 22 from 3-5 p.m. at Parker Press Park. Hay will be supplied; bring old clothes to create a scarecrow.

Trunk or Treat and Halloween Costume Contest will be held Oct. 25 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Woodbridge Community Center.

A Halloween drive-in movie, “Monsters, Inc.,” will be shown Oct. 25 at dusk at the Woodbridge Community Center.

The Halloween Hayride and Family Fun Festival will be held Oct. 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Parker Press Park.

Woodbridge High School’s Haunted House will be held Oct. 30 and 31 from 7-10 p.m. at 1500 Rahway Ave., across from the prison. The “Happy Haunted House” (lights on) will be held from 7-8 p.m. The “Scary Haunted House” is open from 8-10 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12.
