16TH DISTRICT: Send a message by voting for Vella and Zwicker

Peter Wolanin, Princeton
Are you ready to stand up to Chris Christie? Tired of paying for his out-of-state campaign trips with your tax dollars while our roads crumble and the state economy fails to recover?
Here’s how to send your message — be a voter on Nov. 3 for Andrew Zwicker and Maureen Vella for the state Assembly. If you didn’t know, Princeton got redistricted in 2010 and is now represented by two conservative Republicans who are part of Christie’s leadership team, and have among the worst environmental voting records in the Assembly. They will not admit that the Christie policies they have backed are not working even while economies in the states all around us are booming by comparison to New Jersey.
Andrew Zwicker and Maureen Vella will stand up for us. They plan to grow the economy by investing in the strengths that made New Jersey the innovation state — education, infrastructure, community, and the environment. They will support innovative ideas and our entrepreneurial spirit, while moving to a more sustainable economy.
Join me in voting Democratic on Nov. 3 and send your message.
