HOPEWELLS: Sourland Conservancy photos could become notecards

The Sourland Conservancy is holding a “Sourland Scenes” photography contest, with the art to be featured on the conservancy’s first set of Sourland Mountain notecards.
To enter, email pictures (taken only in the Sourland Mountain region), captions (location and/or description of the subject) and photographer’s name and contact information to lcleveland@sourland.org before midnight on Nov. 13.
Images may be vertical or horizontal, black and white or color, cropped to accommodate 4-inch by 5 ¼-inch format, and minimum of 300 dpi. The Sourland Conservancy will retain royalty-free, nonexclusive rights, in perpetuity, to use the image in print or online.
One winner will be chosen in each of the following categories: spring; summer; winter; fall; boulder(s); landscape; native flower, plant, or tree; and wild bird or animal. The conservancy will print 4×5 ¼ notecards using the winning images to sell online, at events and in area shops.
Winners will receive bragging rights, credit on the notecard, fleeting fame in print and social media, and a personal set of “Sourland Scenes” notecards.
