Weichert of Ocean collecting items for Cinderella’s Closet

David Wood, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Ocean Township office, announced that his office will be joining forces with Cinderella’s Closet of Monmouth County to collect new and gently used formal wear.

Now through Feb. 15, the community is encouraged to drop off new and gently used dresses and tuxedos, as well as accessories including dressy shoes (new only), costume jewelry, evening bags and clutches) at the Weichert Ocean Township office, located at 1900 Route 35, Oakhurst. The office will be accepting donations Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All of the items and accessories that are collected will be donated to Cinderella’s Closet of Monmouth County. Those who are in need are invited to the annual Prom Boutique, scheduled for March 19, 2016 at Long Branch High School, to “shop” for their prom attire in an uplifting and positive atmosphere.

“We truly enjoy giving back to the communities we serve,” said Wood. “In line with the Weichert culture, we are privileged to assist an organization that makes such a powerful impact on the youth and their self-esteem.”
