Workshop will discuss home heating methods

The Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County will offer an “Alternative Heating for Your Home” workshop 6:30-8 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the EARTH Center in Davidsons Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Ave. South, Brunswick N.J.

William Hlubik, Rutgers University professor and director of the county’s Extension Service, will address wood-burning stoves, pellet stoves and more contemporary forms of energy such as solar and geothermal power.

The workshop is free but pre-registration is required by calling 732-398-5262 by Nov. 24. No “walk-ins” will be permitted.
