The Middletown Township Public Library is offering programs for children during December at 55 New Monmouth Road. Registration is required for each program unless otherwise noted.
“Just Chill” for tweens will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 1 and for children age 6-8 at 4 p.m. Dec. 9. Make crafts, decorate cookies and enjoy music. Alert the librarian of food allergies.
“First Friday Freestyle Art for Kids” for children in grades K-5 will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 4. Experiment with a simple art concept.
“Mrs. Claus Holiday Celebration Featuring Kitty Jones” for children age 5 and up will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 5. Listen to stories, sing holiday songs and dance. All are welcome.
“Crafternoon: Stenciled Gift Wrap” for children age 5 and up will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 10. Enjoy stenciling gift wrap while listening to seasonal stories.
“Pete the Cat Saves Christmas!” for all ages will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 15. Enjoy a musical spin on “The Night Before Christmas.”
“Noon Year’s Eve Party” for all ages will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 31. Enjoy a morning countdown and ring in the “noon year.” All are welcome.
