The weekend of Nov. 14 was the final race of a 15-race go-kart season called the Turkey Trot at Raceway Park in Englishtown. Hillsborough’s Jared Burchette won the KART Series TAG Senior Division Race to take home a 30-pound turkey.
He competed against about 12 other karts in the field.
He was also given another turkey from a competitor, and both will be provided to the Hillsborough Food Bank.
