HILLSBOROUGH: Student-athletes signal college intentions

Several Hillsborough High School athletes have put their signature to paper signifying their intent to compete at the college level. In exchange they’ll receive at least some scholarship aid.
Making their decision were:
– Celia Terreri to play girls’ lacrosse at Winthrop University;
— Gianna Napoletano for girls lacrosse at the University of Cincinnati;
 — Samuel Hendrix, boys’ swimming, at the University of Kentucky;
 — Julieyanna Parker, girls’ swimming, at the University of San Diego;
 — Brandon Tubby, men’s cross country, at Northeastern University;
 — Kelsey Vieira, women’s track, at Penn State University.
 — Jeff Serin for baseball to Drew University.
Girls softball player Katie Gademsky has verbally committed to Babson College and girls soccer player Kate Swetz will compete as a walk-on at the University of Maryland.
Emily Van Pelt has indicated she’ll play field hockey at Kean.
