The Student Government Organization at North Brunswick Township High School (NBTHS) conducted a successful blood drive on Nov. 20.
There were 151 units of blood collected, which will help more than 450 people.
An additional 70 people attempted to donate but were unable to for various reasons. In 2015, New Jersey Blood Services, with the help of NBTHS students and staff collected 350 units of blood, helping more than 1,000 people.
Another blood drive is scheduled for May.
