The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
Vrutant R. Amin, 19, of Orchard Apartments, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, being an unlicensed driver and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle at 11:23 p.m. Nov. 28 on Bennington Drive.
An officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked and occupied on Bennington Drive. The driver’s suspicious behavior led to further investigation, at which time he was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Amin was arrested and later released pending court action.
Carlos M. Guaman-Merchan, 20, of Hightstown, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:21 a.m. Nov. 29.
While on patrol in the area of Route 133 and Route 130, a officer observed a white Scion stopped along the shoulder of the roadway. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the passenger was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Gregory Goldstein-Boehm, 21 of Disbrow Hill Road, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and speeding at 3:39 p.m. Nov. 29 along Route 133.
While on patrol in the area of Route 133 and One Mile Road, an officer observed a black Jaguar traveling at a high rate of speed and conducted a motor vehicle stop. While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the officer detected the odor of marijuana. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Goldstein-Boehm was arrested and later released pending court action.
Julian R. Lee, 23, of Stockton Street, was charged with DUI, reckless driving and careless driving at 10:09 p.m. Nov. 30 at Conover Road and Route 130.
An officer responded to the area of Route 130 and Conover Road for a single car motor vehicle crash. The officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s breath as he spoke. The driver was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. Mr. Lee was later released pending court action.
William P. Kish, 30, of Kendall Park, N.J., was charged with shoplifting, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles and Michael R. Nichols Jr., 24, of Avenel, N.J., was charged with possession of hypodermic needles at 10:55 a.m. Dec. 2 at the CVS on Route 130.
An officer responded to the CVS Pharmacy on Route 130 for a report of a shoplifter leaving the store. The suspect was located in a nearby parking lot with stolen merchandise. Further investigation revealed that the suspect was also in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles. An additional person was also found to be in possession of hypodermic needles. Both individuals were arrested and later released pending court action.
Stephen J. Church, 52, of Middletown, N.J., was charged with DUI, refusal to submit breath samples, reckless driving and careless driving at 10:09 p.m. Dec. 2 on Route 130.
While on patrol, an officer observed a suspicious occupied vehicle parked in the Exxon gas station parking lot. The officer made an inquiry with the driver of the vehicle and detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle. The driver was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. Mr. Church was later released pending court action.
The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports through Saturday, Dec. 5.
Eamon P. Griffin, 35, of Meadow Drive, was arrested Nov. 25 for an outstanding warrant out of Kenilworth and Manalapan Municipal Courts. Mr. Griffin was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed, and later released after posting bail.
Natalie E. Tuchez, 21, of Mercer Street, was arrested Nov. 26 during a motor vehicle stop after she was found in possession of suspected marijuana. Ms. Tuchez was transported to headquarters, processed, and later released pending court.
Anthony M. Desmond, 22, of East Windsor, was arrested Nov. 28 during a motor vehicle stop for outstanding warrants out of East Windsor, Robbinsville, and Plainsboro Municipal Courts. Mr. Desmond was also found in possession of suspected CDS and paraphernalia. Mr. Desmond was transported to headquarters, processed and later transported to Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility to be lodged.
Nathan R. Harris, 35, of Trenton, was arrested Nov. 29 by New Jersey State Police for an outstanding warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Officers took custody of Mr. Harris and transported him to Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility to be lodged.
Officers are investigating a theft report in the 500 block of North Main Street on Dec. 3. A home owner called at approximately 5 p.m. and stated that she observed an unknown male subject wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants walk onto her neighbor’s porch and take a new television that had been delivered earlier that day. The suspect left on foot, northbound toward Town Center Drive. Officers checked the surrounding area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. Anyone with information or similar incidents, please contacts headquarters immediately.
Angel M. Baez-Osorio, 33, of East Windsor, was arrested Dec. 5 during a motor vehicle stop for DWI. Mr. Baez-Osorio was transported to headquarters, processed and later released to a friend pending his court date.
Kelly R. Fenchel, 24, from East Windsor, was arrested Dec. 5 by officers from Wall PD for an outstanding warrant out of Hightstown Municipal Court. Officers took custody of Ms. Fenchel and transported her to Mercer County Adult Correctional Facility to be lodged.
