Coach’s Thoughts: I think the team will do extremely well this year. On the boys side, we want to take it further than we did last year. We didn’t end our season the way we wanted to. I think we need to go in with the mentality that we’re not going to let any one stop, or slow us down. As a team, we’re going to use every opportunity to race, whether we’re winning or losing, to our full advantage.

Coach’s Thoughts: Since this is my first season with the team, my expectations are set on a larger more rounded scale. I want to emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship, positive attitudes and build a strong culture within the program. I want to get to know my swimmers and continue to build and develop their strengths as individuals and a team. I know that the boys team would like a repeat, if not better, last season. With it being early in the season, I already believe that we are well on track to reach if not surpass some of those goals. I have a great coaching staff with Brian Paulson and Elizabeth Vines, and hopefully together we can carry on the Pirate Pride tradition. I’m looking forward to having a great season.
