Ravens go 2-1 to open hockey season

Joe Pontrelli opened the scoring with a goal off a pass from Liam Hartmann and John Francis scored two goals off passes from Shawn Camisa and Joshua Rosenbaum for the Robbinsville-Allentown Ravens co-op ice hockey team. Wall High School rampaged for nine goals from there, however, for a 10-3 victory Dec. 4 at Mercer County Park. It set the Ravens down to 2-1 on the season.

Nick Koch made 34 saves.

The Ravens went to 2-0 when they beat West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North, 9-0, as Hartmann, Rosenbaum and John Martin each scored twice. Camisa, Brian Eder and Aiden Fredericks put in the other goals, and Pontrelli had three assists.

Joe Nolan made 30 saves.
