Mr. and Mrs. John Marcsisin of Hillsborough are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Nicole Marcsisin to David Matthew Shiffman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Shiffman of Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
Allison graduated from Hillsborough High School in 2006 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising, international studies, and Italian from Penn State University in 2010. She is employed by Centro Media, N.Y.
David graduated from Adlai E. Stevenson High School in 2006 and received Bachelor of Science degrees in accountancy and finance from the University of Illinois in 2009. He is employed by Alvarez and Marsal, New York City.
A September 2016 wedding is planned.
