HOPEWELL TWP.: Stop results in marijuana charge 

At midnight Dec. 21 Hopewell Township Police Officer George Peterson stopped a 2010 Volkswagen on Pennington-Lawrencville Road for having tinted front windows.
While speaking with the driver, who was identified as Alexander S. Frazier, 24, of Pennington-Harbourton Road, Pennington, a small amount of marijuana was allegedly located on him.
Mr. Frazier was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released after being charged for the marijuana and cited for having tinted windows. His case will be heard in municipal court.
In another report, Officer Robert Voorhees stopped a 2015 Chevy van for a defective brake lamp on Dec. 22 at 8:16 p.m. .
While speaking with the driver, who was identified as Everette L. Rogers, 38, of Norristown, Pa., warrants for his arrest from Bordentown and Hightstown were located. He was placed under arrest and taken to the Mercer County Correctional Center and lodged in default of bail.
A passenger, Thomas A. Brooks, 26, of Ridley Park, Pa., was also found to be facing warrants for his arrest from Camden. He was placed under arrest and taken to headquarters, from where he was processed and released. 
