MCFOODS, Cranbury, which serves food pantries and soup kitchens in Middlesex County, is running low on supplies due to an increase in food pantries, soup kitchens and social service organizations coming to the agency for help.
MCFOODS is seeking businesses, individuals, religious congregations, social groups, clubs, sports teams or camps to sponsor a summer food drive. The sponsors will be provided with containers to store the food during the collection, a flyer to promote the drive, and pickup of your donations as often as necessary.
Individual donations are accepted year-round at local libraries in East Brunswick, Edison, Metuchen, Milltown, Monroe, North Brunswick, South Brunswick, Spotswood and Woodbridge. MCFOODS also accepts grocery store gift certificates, and monetary contributions.
