Rowan University senior running back Withler Marcelin (Ocean Township) earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after a record-setting day against Widener University. He became the school’s all-time leading rusher with 3,309 yards, eclipsing the previous mark of 3,217. Marcelin ran the ball 27 times and scored two touchdowns.
The Long Branch Recreation Youth Soccer Program is in need of youth coaches.
Coaches are needed for the 5- to 7-yearold division, the 8- to 10-year-old division and the 11- to 12-year-old division.
