The Monmouth Museum’s “Juried Photography Invitational Exhibition” opens Sept. 26 and will run through Nov. 2
An opening reception will be held Friday 6-8 p.m. at the museum, located on the campus of Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.
This exhibition features work that demonstrates the breadth and diversity of expression in contemporary photography. More than 70 artists from across the U.S. and Canada are featured, working in a variety of photographic media. Submissions were juried by Stephen Perloff and Sarah Morthland. Perloff is a writer, educator, and photographer and editor of The Photo Review, a critical journal of national scope and international readership.
Morthland is the co-founder and owner of Archive Consulting and Management Services in New York City, a firm specializing in appraisals of documentary and fine art photographs and photographic collection management.
The Monmouth Museum’s Main Gallery and Nilson Gallery are open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays.
