Riverview Medical Center, 1 Riverview Plaza, Red Bank, will offer free health screenings this summer beginning with blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat and bone density July 21 from 9 a.m. to noon, and July 25 from 7-9 p.m. Screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat and peripheral vascular disease (PVD) will be offered Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, and Aug. 15 from 7-9 p.m. Screenings are at the center’s Blaisdell lobby. The free lecture, “Living a Full and Active Life with Arthritis,” will be presented July 30 at 7 p.m. Edward C. Allegra, M.D., a board-certified rheumatologist at Riverview will give the program. He will discuss the disease and how to live a more active lifestyle. Participants must preregister for the above and may do so by calling (800) 560-9990.
